ATAS Risk Management – Hard Rules That Actually Stop You
Last updated August 5, 2026
ATAS ships with hard, enforced risk controls: max daily loss, max position size, max orders per minute, plus auto-attached brackets on every entry.
Auto bracket orders
Set a default stop-loss and target in ticks or ATR. Every market or limit entry inherits the bracket instantly — no forgotten stops.
Daily loss lockout
Configure a max daily loss. Once hit, ATAS flattens every open position and disables order entry until the next session. Ideal for revenge-trade prevention.
FAQ
Does ATAS enforce max daily loss?
Yes. You can set a hard daily loss, position count and max drawdown; ATAS auto-flattens and blocks new orders when a rule triggers.
Can ATAS auto-attach a stop-loss?
Yes — every entry can auto-fire a bracket stop/target, either at a fixed tick distance or at an ATR-based level.
Is this enough for prop firm rules?
Combined with the Account Risk Manager, yes. Traders use it to stay inside Apex/TopStep/FTMO drawdown rules.
